How To Use The Gua Sha?

Clean your Gua Sha before and after use, with mild soap and warm water. Allow to air dry or dry with a microfibre cloth or soft towel and store in a safe place.

Each section of the Gua Sha is designed to be used on a different area of the face to help gain the best benefit. 

The notch at the top is used on the delicate skin under the eyes.
The long edge is used on the neck and cheeks.
The shorter edge is used on the forehead.
The notched edge or ‘U’ shaped section is used on the throat, jawline and eyebrows.

Use the Gua Sha gently on each area of your face to gain the maximum benefits.  

The Gua Sha can be used every day. It's suggested to use once a day for about five minutes each time to get an instant boost to the appearance of your skin.

Is using a Gua Sha painful?

• Applied with the correct pressure, Gua Sha treatment is not painful, but some times can feel that way if there is a lot of tension to release.
• Gua Sha may cause some slight redness or bruising, which may cause discomfort for some people, this is normal and heals up within a few days.

• Avoid using your Gua Sha if you’ve had any surgery in the last six weeks.
• People suffering from clotting disorders should not use a Gua Sha stone.
• Gua Sha's are not suitable for people who have medical conditions affecting the skin or veins, have an infection, tumour, or wound that has not healed fully, or have an implant, such as a pacemaker or internal defibrillator.
• If you suffer from active acne, rosacea, eczema, or any kind of skin irritation, you should not use Gua Sha and it is always best to consult with a qualified dermatologist before trying it at home.
